I love using natural elements for my beauty care. I used to bleach my hair blonde and paint my nails often. Now, I use henna on my hair, eyebrows, skin and nails which is made from flowers. I use jagua to draw on jewelry.
Natural ways take longer but are healthier.
Using common brand hair dyes and nail polishes that use toxic chemicals that damage your hair and nails, which makes your nails and hair age faster.
Henna, Jagua, Indigo, Turmeric, Beets are all natural dyes that do not break down cell structure when used, in fact, they strengthen them. I offer classes to instruct people how to use henna and jagua and perhaps soon other dyes for beauty needs. I will start posting soon where these classes will be on this site on the CONTACT page.

Temporary Body Art is an expression

of your state of present self awareness.

Expression is the opposite of depression.

I celebrate the natural ways by not forgetting them and practicing them with love and respect. I can show you by exact step by step supervision. I have enjoyed these dyes in my ardor many years and want to share them with everyone because they are wonderful and beautiful dyes the Earth provides to use for our beauty needs rather than things that will hurt the Earth.

Some of our best medicines are combinations of the old ways with new technology. For instance, Henna on the skin serves as a natural sunblock. Henna fights free radicals when worn on the skin. Lawsonia henna fights free radicals & is one of the chemical base components of most spray tans.
Jagua is a fruit loaded with B vitamins, iron, calcium, phosphorus, proteins, lipids and fibers. However, I wouldn't eat it, it will turn your teeth blue! Plus it can be toxic for infants and breastfeeding moms. Best just to stick to the henna, it's more gentle if you are sensitive. Modern science is necessary when studying natural elements and how it effects us. For instance if the Aztecs had labs they wouldn't have poisoned themselves with MERCURY tainted red body paint called cinnabar! Or more recently, the 'lead' epidemic. Research and study SAVES lives.

I offer classes usually monthly at popular locations posted on the CONTACT page.
I have 20+ Years of experience at theme parks like Disney Springs, Animal Kingdom, Sea World, Six Flags, Georgia Mushroom Festival, Celebration Henna, Universal Studios- Lost Continent, World Henna, The Dandelion Cafe, as well as many annual festival events.

Henna is a reddish brown stain from India. I use Jamilla or Rajasthani brand henna with honey or sugar, lavender and lemon. Please note that if you are allergic to citrus you might be allergic to henna paste due to it's usual lemon juice ingredient. Also if you are allergic to red flowers, like hibiscus flowers or roses, then don't apply henna to your skin. Henna is darkest on the 2nd day.
Jagua gel, a dark blue stain, which is made from a pear like fruit from South America and Africa and is a wonderful dark skin stain. Jagua is a jelly-like substance. Jagua is from the Rubiaceae family so do not apply jagua to yourself, if your allergic to dark berries, walnuts or plums. Jagua is darkest on the 4th day. Jagua can be on skin for as little as 40 minutes to create a stain that lasts a week.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot get Jagua tattoos but Henna tattoos are perfectly safe. Jagua is too Sage as Henna is to Lavender.

Both color stains are commonly used on hair as well as designs for skin and nails. Both colors compliment each other well.
You can use biodegradable glitter to decorate if you wish. I recommend it.
Chlorine or natural exfoliation makes natural skin stain fade, so cover tattoo with Vaseline or Chap Stick before swimming in a chlorinated pool. Regular lotion is recommended too.

"I've used henna in my hair for about 20 years. It is also the brand supplied for my classes to instruct people how to draw on themselves. The brand I have mostly used in those years was Beachcombers Henna." ~Naturalness Body Artist
